NEW YORK – Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton has been fined $25,000 for throwing the game ball into the spectator stands, it was announced today by league officials.
The incident, for which Claxton was assessed a technical foul and ejected, occurred with 8:46 remaining in the second quarter of the Nets’ 101-94 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 19 at Scotiabank Arena.
