Here's a modified version of the content: The Los Angeles Clippers are set to face off against the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena, located in the Mile High City. This matchup will be the sole game broadcasted nationally on NBA TV, with tip-off scheduled for 9 p.m. ET.
NBA DFS Core Plays
Nikola Jokić (C – DEN)
DraftKings: $12,500FanDuel: $12,800Nikola Jokić has simply been on another planet lately. He has scored 104 total points with 30 rebounds, 16 assists, and four steals with six total 3-pointers across the past two games against the defensively-challenged Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards.
Against the Clippers, he has an opponent rank of 24, so there is another good opportunity for Jokić to put up another gigantic stat line on Friday night.
Brandon Miller (SG, SF – CHA)
DraftKings: $9,000FanDuel: $8,100Brandon Miller should get all of the run he wants with
LaMelo Ball
(calf) and
Tre Mann
(back) sidelined. Miller has scored 25+ points in all four games in December, while he is working on a five-game streak with three or more 3-pointers made.
Miller also has six or more rebounds in four of the past six games and seven of the previous 10 outings, while going for three or more assists in 12 of the past 14 contests. Miller is money well spent, as he contributes in a multitude of ways.
Donovan Mitchell (PG, SG – CLE)
DraftKings: $8,900FanDuel: $9,100Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers should go off against the Washington Wizards’ leaky defense. They are allowing 123.9 points per game (PPG), which ranks 30th in the NBA. Teams are hitting 48.5% from the field and 37.4% from behind the 3-point line against them. Both of those marks are 27th in The Association.
Mitchell went for 19 points with seven assists, five rebounds, three steals and four 3-pointers in the most recent rout of the Wizards in NBA Cup group play on December 3rd. He scored 30 points on 11-of-18 shooting with six 3-pointers, five assists, four rebounds, and four steals on October 26th in D.C.
NBA DFS Cash Game Targets
Darius Garland (PG – CLE)
DraftKings: $7,500FanDuel: $6,700Darius Garland is a strong play against the Wizards. Also, a Cleveland stack is not a bad idea against Washington. Garland went for 23 points with five rebounds and five assists while dropping in two 3-pointers last time out in Miami on Sunday.
Garland played just 17 minutes against Washington in their most recent meeting, going for 12 points and two 3-pointers. However, he was an efficient 9-of-11 from the field with four 3-pointers, finishing with 23 points, five assists, two rebounds, and two steals in 24 minutes back on October 26 in D.C.
Paul George (SF, PF – PHI)
DraftKings: $8,000FanDuel: $8,400Paul George gets a crack against his former team. The Pacers have an opponent rank of 26th, so George should be able to put up some strong numbers. George is coming off a down night in Chicago, going for just 12 points on 6-of-13 shooting with seven rebounds, two assists, and a blocked shot.
However, George had 21+ points and eight or more rebounds in the first two games of December. If he gets to those numbers he’ll be well worth the bread.
Pascal Siakam (PF, C – IND)
DraftKings: $8,100FanDuel: $7,400Pascal Siakam had a single-digit point total last time out against the Charlotte Hornets, struggling with his shot. However, while he was just 3-of-8 from the field, he made up for it with a season-best 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 34 minutes.
In his first meeting with Philadelphia, Siakam went for 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting with six assists and five rebounds while adding a pair of 3-pointers.
NBA DFS GPP Targets
Jarrett Allen (C – CLE)
DraftKings: $6,800FanDuel: $7,500Jarrett Allen was a very efficient 5-of-6 for 11 points, three rebounds, two steals, and an assist in 25 minutes against Washington in NBA Cup play. He was 10-of-10 for 23 points and five rebounds in 25 minutes in Washington in their regular-season meeting on October 26. Again, a Cleveland stack against the very giving Washington Wizards cannot lose.
Norman Powell (SG, SF – LAC)
DraftKings: $6,300FanDuel: $6,700Norman Powell has been exceeding his DFS salary expectations more often than not lately, going for 17+ points in five straight outings. He was good for 30 points on 11-of-15 from the field in NBA Cup play on Tuesday against Portland. He is averaging 25 points, 3.4 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.7 3-pointers made per game in three contests since flipping the calendar from November to December.
Santi Aldama (PF – MEM)
DraftKings: $5,600FanDuel: $6,600Santi Aldama is a little more valuable on DraftKings than on FanDuel. He is coming off an impressive 19-point effort last time out against Washington. He has 15+ points in five of his previous six performances. Aldama is working on a streak of 11 straight games with at least one 3-pointer, too.
NBA DFS Value Plays
Max Christie (SG, SF – LAL)
DraftKings: $4,000FanDuel: $4,400With
LeBron James
sidelined for a second consecutive game due to a sore left foot, Max Christie is expected to be in the starting five for a second straight outing. Christie was good for just four points on a 1-of-6 shooting night against the Trail Blazers last time out, but he is averaging a respectable 8.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.0 steals per game in five December contests. He has hit a total of five 3-pointers in the month as well.
Mark Williams (C – CHA)
DraftKings: $5,100FanDuel: $4,700Mark Williams no longer appears on the injury report due to a foot injury that cost him Sunday’s game. The Bulls have an opponent rank of 26th, so Williams could hit the ground running in this one. He scored a season-high 12 points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting last time out against Cleveland on Saturday.
Caris LeVert (PG, SG – CLE)
DraftKings: $4,700FanDuel: $5,300Caris LeVert is a better value on DraftKings than on FanDuel. Against the Wizards, though, he is a strong option at a low salary. LeVert is averaging 12.8 points per game in five December games, including 10 points with three assists, two rebounds, and a steal against the Wizards on December 3rd in NBA Cup play. He also had 10 points in 19 minutes with a pair of 3-pointers in their first meeting.
